About Us
Whitestonecliffe Alpacas are based 4 miles east from the market town of Thirsk ( also known as James Herriots Darrowby), so we are near to the Yorkshire Dales and the North Yorkshire Moors.
To begin our new venture into alpacas we bought 4 pregnant females who had their offspring (cria) at foot, at present we have over 50 with more due to give birth this summer.
Over the years we have used stud males of different colours and genetics to improve our herd. This has given us a wide range of the 22 recognised colours within the breed.
Here at Water Hall Farm, alpacas are not our only enterprise. The farm is 134 acres on which we run a beef suckler herd of 80 animals of all ages and grow arable crops as well.
